The bungalows at Carpe Diem Residence were amazing! They had a kitchenette with all the cooking utensils you need, so I could cook my own meals whenever I wanted. The room was spacious and had a cozy balcony where I could relax with a cup of tea. The bathroom had a hot shower which was so refreshing after a long day of exploring the island. And the Smart TV was a fantastic bonus for some entertainment before bed.

The only downside for me was that the bathroom didn't have a bathtub. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others might not mind at all.

The only thing I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is a more visible sign on the roadside. This would be particularly helpful for older guests who may struggle with navigating unfamiliar areas.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners who made us feel right at home from the beginning. They even arranged a taxi for us and prepared complimentary juice upon our arrival. The happiness house we stayed in was comfortable and had great facilities, including a wonderful air conditioning system and cozy beds. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely recommended. The location was perfect for us as it was quiet and we were able to use bikes from the hotel to get around. The communal area was lively with a jukebox and a great selection of music. And of course, the highlight of our stay was the adorable dogs that added an extra touch of sweetness to our experience. We couldn't have asked for a more welcoming and enjoyable stay. Had the whole place to myself, perfect for a party for one. Loved the view from the terrace and the pool, even though I didn't swim because I forgot my bikini. Free pick-up service was a lifesaver, I would have been so lost without it. So convenient!

Oh, and don't forget to bring your own hot water for the pool, apparently they don't provide that.

It had ramps and handrails that made navigation easy for senior people, and the staff were always ready to assist us in any way possible.

The only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people would be if the children working there had a bit more knowledge about the local landmarks and attractions. It would have been helpful for them to provide senior-friendly recommendations and assistance in exploring the area.
